My recordings
My recordings is the list of sessions you saved for Market Replay. Recordings come from Record the live market and Import replay files.
Open the list
- Open Connections from the top bar.
- In the Market Replay row, click the gear icon (Market Replay settings).
- Scroll to My recordings.
If the list is empty, it reads No saved recordings yet. Record a live session above and it will appear here automatically.
What each entry shows
Each recording has a name and one line of details: the markets, the length in minutes, and whether history was saved.
| Detail | Meaning |
|---|---|
Markets, for example ESZ6 · NQZ6 | The contracts in the recording. |
| Minutes | How long the session runs. |
| Historical ticks saved | The recording includes the previous three days of tick history for tick and minute charts. |
| Partial history | Some of that history is missing. |
Recordings you make are named after the date and time in New York time and the markets. Recordings you import are named after the file.
Use a recording
- Disconnect Market Replay if it's connected.
- Click the recording's row, or its Use button.
- Check Selected session at the top of the dialog. It now shows Recorded session.
- Close the dialog and click Connect on the Market Replay row.
Use and delete are off while Market Replay is connected, while a recording is running or saving, and while a file is importing. While connected, the dialog says Disconnect Market Replay before changing the selected session. Download still works while Market Replay is connected.
Tip. A new recording is selected for you as soon as it's saved. The message reads Recording saved and selected for Market Replay. You can connect straight away.
Download a recording
Click Download on a recording. Your browser saves a .json file named after the recording. Keep it as a backup or import it again later. See Import replay files.
Delete a recording
- Click the bin icon on the recording. Its tooltip reads Delete followed by the name.
- In the confirmation, click Delete.
Deleting removes the recording from your list. If you might want it again, download it first.
Where recordings are stored
Recordings are saved in your browser's storage on the device you use. If the browser blocks storage, Tradrr shows Persistent replay storage is unavailable. Check browser storage permissions and retry. Allow site storage for Tradrr and try again.
If the list can't be loaded, a Retry button shows next to the heading.
