Brokers and prop firms
The connection picker lists the prop firms and brokers that trade through Rithmic. Click your firm and the connection form opens with its name already filled in.
Find your firm
- Open Connections and click + (Add connection).
- Type part of the name in Search firms or Rithmic systems.
- To narrow the list, use Prop firms, Brokers or Rithmic. All shows everything.
- Click your firm.
Each card is labelled Prop firm · Rithmic or Broker · Rithmic. The list is split into Prop firms, Brokers and Rithmic systems. If nothing matches, the picker says No matches. Try another name or choose a different category.
Firms in the list
The list covers a lot of firms and keeps growing. A few examples:
- Prop firms: Apex Trader Funding, Bulenox, Earn2Trade, My Funded Futures, Take Profit Trader, Tradeify and more.
- Brokers: AMP Futures, Cannon Trading, EdgeClear, Interactive Brokers, Ironbeam, Optimus Futures and more.
A listing is not an account. Being in the picker only saves you typing the name. You still need a login your firm has enabled for Rithmic. If you're not sure, ask your firm.
What happens when you click a firm
- The form header shows the firm name and Prop firm via Rithmic or Broker via Rithmic, with a VIA Rithmic badge.
- Tradrr tries to select the right System. For prop firms it uses a matching system if there is one, otherwise Rithmic Paper Trading. For brokers you select the system yourself.
- You can change the system and gateway before you save.
The system comes with the credentials your firm sent you. Don't guess it from the firm's name. See Choose your Rithmic system.
If your firm is not listed
- In the picker, click Other Rithmic system.
- Enter your User ID and Password.
- Choose the system your firm gave you in the System list.
- Name the connection something you'll recognise, then click Add Connection.
More than one account at the same firm
You can add the same firm more than once. Tradrr numbers the names, for example Apex Trader Funding 2, so you can tell the rows apart. Right-click a row to rename it.
