Choose your Rithmic system
A Rithmic system is the Rithmic environment your login belongs to. A User ID only works on the system it was created for, so the system you pick has to match the credentials you were given.
The four choices
When you add a connection, the Rithmic systems section of the picker lists these.

Use Other Rithmic system when your firm or broker gave you a system name that isn't one of the first three.
Pick the system in the form
- Open the connection form from the picker.
- Open the System list. It shows the systems Rithmic currently offers.
- Choose the system from your credentials email or your firm's setup page.
- Look at Gateway. Tradrr fills in a gateway for the system you chose. Only change it if your firm told you to.
If no system is selected, a hint under the field reads Select the Rithmic system supplied with your account.
Careful. A login on the wrong system is rejected. If a connection fails right after you add it, check the system first.
How Tradrr preselects a system
When you click a prop firm, Tradrr looks for a system in Rithmic's list that matches the firm's name. It only preselects one when exactly one matches. If none matches, prop firms fall back to Rithmic Paper Trading. Brokers never fall back. You choose their system yourself.
A preselected system is a starting point. Always compare it with what your firm gave you.
When the system list is empty
If Rithmic doesn't return its list, the form shows Rithmic systems are temporarily unavailable. This can happen during scheduled maintenance. Please wait and try again. Click Retry when the maintenance is over.
Rithmic Paper Trading maintenance
Rithmic Paper Trading has regular maintenance times.
- Monday to Friday, 5:20 to 5:45 PM Eastern.
- Weekends, until about noon Eastern on Sunday.
Timing can vary. During these times a chart that's loading shows a notice that Paper Trading may be in maintenance, and Tradrr retries automatically. The recovery pill in the top bar reads Maintenance window · retrying….
Agreements per system
Each system has its own agreements. If a new login is rejected, you may need to sign them first. See Sign the Rithmic agreements.
