Open windows on startup
Two stars decide what you see when Tradrr starts. The star on a workspace picks the workspace. The star on a window picks the window inside it.
Pick the default workspace
- In the top bar, click the Workspaces button.
- Point at a workspace and click the star. Its tooltip reads Make default workspace.
A filled star marks the default workspace, and its tooltip changes to Default workspace. Only one workspace can be the default. Star another one and the star moves.
If you delete the default workspace, another workspace becomes the default, so there's always one.
Pick the startup window
- Switch to the workspace you want to change.
- Click the window selector in the top bar.
- Point at a window and click the star. Its tooltip reads Open on startup.
A filled star marks the startup window. Each workspace has one. Star another window and the star moves. If you delete the startup window, the first window in the list takes over.
What opens when you start Tradrr
- If a workspace has the default star, Tradrr opens it.
- If none has, Tradrr opens the workspace you last used on this device. If this device has no record of that, it opens the workspace that was last active on your account.
- Inside that workspace, Tradrr opens the window with the filled star.
Only the startup window loads when Tradrr starts. Other windows load the first time you open them, which keeps start up quick. See the status under each window name in Add and manage windows.
Tip. Put the star on the window you use every day. Keep heavier windows, like one with a lot of charts, as separate windows you open when you need them.
