Place and manage orders
The order rail
The rail beside the chart keeps its buttons in the same place, so they don't move under your thumb. Buttons grey out when they aren't available.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| LIQ | Liquidates your position and cancels all orders for this instrument. |
| BE | Moves your protection to entry. A long press sets the offset, in ticks past entry. The button label shows the offset. |
| Quantity | Plus and minus buttons change the order size. |
Trade from the chart
- Touch and hold a bar to inspect it.
- Tap + to trade at its price. The Place chart order ticket opens.
- Check Account, Quantity and Duration. For a bracket, turn on Stop loss and Take profit and set the ticks from entry.
- Tap the order action you want, for example a buy or sell at the price shown on the button.
- If Order confirmation is on, confirm on the next screen, titled Confirm buy order or Confirm sell order.
Careful. Use a practice account while you learn the phone layout. Orders on a live account are real.
